Corazon refrains contain a pair of twin lobes identical in every respect, which are nevertheless linked (in contrast to the situation found in figure 8's). As the ear follows a fragment of lobe passing through the linked region, a delayed echo is experienced corresponding to the sibling lobe through which the linking takes place. This scheme gives rise to the phenomenon of audio recall.
